8.5 Months Old

Another week, another cold. It's been over a month since our little guy has been without a cough and snotty nose! Pediatrician thinks its another virus so we're left to wait it out again. With our upcoming travel plans, we don't anticipate a healthy little man any time soon.

During this past week, we've seen Bradley moving around more and as a result, getting into a lot more mischief. No cord is safe and every electronic device is just screaming his name.

Eating his cereal by himself. Now if only he could clean up himself!

Last night was my work holiday party. It was held at the Prado in Balboa Park and had delicious food, great music, and a bunch of casino games. Bradley had a fun time playing with his new babysitter, a friend of a friend who is in med school at UCSD. Poor girl spent the night studying after Bradley went to bed. Happy to have someone to give us a night out once in awhile :) Here's Adam at the craps table, making up for his unluckiness in Vegas.

Chilly San Diego

Like the rest of the country, San Diego has also been chilly the past few days. We actually had to turn on the heat 2 days ago to keep Bradley warm at night. Hopefully it warms up again soon...we miss Florida!

Vegas-Part 2

Bradley continued his sightseeing tour through our hotel. He found this beautiful fountain between the Venetian and the Palazzo hotels.

Aside from Bradley (and us) barely sleeping the entire trip, it was a lot of fun! He's still getting over a cold so I think that combined with being in his pack and play in a strange place led him to sleep horribly. Unfortunately, we expect him to be just as bad during our christmas visit to Maine in a few weeks..I guess its good to know we can still function on very minimal sleep.

Our next adventure will be my work holiday party next weekend. We're using a non-family/friend babysitter for the first time to watch Bradley so we're hoping that goes well. It would be really nice to finally have someone to watch him during an occasional date night.
