39 weeks

I was really hoping that I wouldn't be able to post a picture at 39 weeks...at least not of me still pregnant. Unfortunately, here I am:

We saw the doctor this morning and he's scheduled induction for us, starting Sunday night. Hopefully, Baby Hall chooses to come before that but one way or another we should have a baby by Monday.
At this point, Adam and I are both done working and so just kind of waiting around for baby to arrive. It's nice to have some time off, I just wish I felt better!

38 Weeks

Baby Hall looks oddly like a basketball at this point...maybe that's his way of saying "let's get this thing rolling and get me out of here!" Adam and I are both ready to meet him, hopefully sooner than later. Here is Adam getting ready for the main event:

You can see my awesome cankles in that photo as well. Unfortunately, cankles are just a part of life for me now. I'm still feeling ok...tired and uncomfortable a lot but that's to be expected. In an effort to have a St Patty's Day baby, Adam even sang 'Happy Birthday' to the little guy but no luck.


Adam's coworkers threw us a going away party/baby shower over the weekend since Friday was his last day of work.

We are so thankful to have such awesome and supportive people in our lives...and hopefully we'll be just as lucky in San Diego.

37 weeks

Full term! We are definitely ready to meet our little guy any day now. Bring on the spicy food!

My company had a party over the weekend to basically celebrate the end of it, so I'm just going to use a picture from that for this week (although, I've probably gotten even bigger in the 2 days since this was taken!):

My lab is being packed up and moved to San Diego over the next 3 weeks so I'm hoping to be able to just sit at home with my laptop and keep working until this baby comes. A daily mid-afternoon nap also sounds like a good idea! Adam is excited that Friday is his last day of work and I think he has plans to get in as much golfing as he can before baby arrives.

36 Weeks

So I'm feeling super-huge now....it's a bit crazy to think I could have another 4-5 weeks of this! Hopefully Baby Hall is too excited to wait that long. We have weekly visits at the doctor now and other than feeling tired and very big, things are going ok.

We've been busy this past week with some wonderful guests visiting us from frozen Maine:

Not the best weather (probably our coldest of the year!) but not a snow flurry to be found. And while Baby Hall prevented me from enjoying the Magic Kingdom with them, a good time was had by all. We're so glad that Shawn, Carrie, Aiden and Riley were able to visit us in Florida! 
And today is Adam's birthday... Happy Birthday Adam!!!
