8 weeks old!

Can't believe Bradley is 2 months old already! The upcoming week is the end of my maternity leave so we've been trying to get in as much fun stuff as we can.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, we went for a hike in Los Penasquitos Canyon. Not entirely stroller-friendly, but we still managed to do a 6.5 mile trek to see a waterfall.

 

 

Rewarding ourselves with a little pit stop at Chili's afterwards. Bradley is ready for his chips and salsa!

Exploring San Diego

After being a bit more settled in our new place and feeling a bit braver with taking Bradley out of the house, we spent a few days sightseeing in the area. First up, the famous San Diego Zoo. We got a membership so we can visit as many times as we want at no extra cost. Hopefully, Bradley appreciates this more in the future (he slept most of this visit!)

7 weeks

We've been in our new San Diego home for a week now and are feeling a bit more settled. Most boxes are unpacked, internet and TV are connected, and Gizmo has found his favorite spots in the house. Last weekend, we explored the area a little bit and headed for the beach. Unfortunately, this is what we saw as we drove closer...

 

Apparently, it's referred to as "May Gray" and "June Gloom". Intense fog sometimes that just sits on the beach. We haven't seen fog in years! Hopefully, the next time we head toward the coast, the sun is shining.

 

Bradley is a strapping young lad at 7 weeks old now!
