Almost 4 months old!

We're finally all healthy again! And just in time for Bradley's 4 month milestone. Not much going on this past week...I've been working a lot and so didn't take as many pictures as I usually do. We wanted to take Bradley swimming again but the weather hasn't cooperated the previous 2 weekends...temps in the mid 70's and cloudy. Not warm enough for the little guy to get in the chilly Cali water!

Sleeping on daddy is still the best

Probably still a bit small for it

House of Sick

Another week and the sickness remains. I'm STILL coughing and will probably go back to the doctor this week. I've been taking medicine to treat symptoms but don't really feel like I'm getting better.

We took Bradley to the pediatrician on Tuesday because he's been coughing for several weeks now too and they gave him antibiotics to treat what may be a mild case of whooping cough (maybe also what I have?) After a few days of medicine, he's definitely sounding better. While he's had one dose of the whooping cough vaccine, he still has several to go, which may be why he just got mildly sick. And he clocked in at a hefty 16lbs 12 oz! He'll be 4 months old in another week so not quite double his birth weight by 4 months (he was 9lbs 5oz at birth, for those not keeping track at home).

Another funny surprise this week:

Adam went to pick Bradley up from day care one day this week and he's dressed in an elf suit. Apparently, he got his clothes wet and the day care teacher didn't see that we have several extra outfits in his drawer at school. So she dressed him in the only outfit they had that fit :) merry Christmas in July!

Trying to get an action shot of him in his swing. His feet are already starting to hang out

Still loving his activity mat

Tummy time!

super crazy hair!

WE ARE...PENN STATE!

He's got lots to say now

Summer fun!

A visit to Urgent Care over the weekend and turns out that I'm dealing with bronchitis. But that doesn't mean that we can't have a little summer fun! Today Bradley went for his first dip in the pool...and we were expecting him to cry because Cali water is chilly but no tears!

so cute to see him kicking his feet!

very fashionable

Happy Fourth!

We knew we were in trouble when Bradley's day care teacher said he was holding hands with a little girl. My first thought was "he's going to get sick" rather than "awwww!" and of course, the next day he's got a cold. He just had a stuffy nose for a few days but then the cough appeared. Not to be suffering alone, he was nice enough to give me his day care bug as well. So here we are, 2 weeks later and both still coughing. He's sounding better and I'm debating heading to the doctor. So it goes!

Anyways, we had a fun July 4th. We started the day by visiting a friend in Pacific Beach and taking part in her neighborhood parade, complete with firetruck.

Here are the guys in matching outfits for the holiday:

After the parade, we spent the second half of the day at a coworker's house for a holiday picnic. Bradley and I were quite exhausted after the long day.

Adam started his new job this week as well. He's working at a hospital's outpatient surgery center in their PACU. Sadly, I don't have any pictures to commemorate his first day.

"Hi everyone!"  (gosh, he looks so grown-up here)
