Almost 5 months old!

We are preparing for our upcoming trip to PA for Labor Day weekend. Bradley will finally get to meet Grandma and Grandpa for the first time, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other family members. And our first airplane ride with a baby...hopefully, things go smoothly!

Bradley learned to roll over on his left side really well (back to front) a week ago and has been practicing ever since. Unfortunately, this led to a few awful nights as the little man kept rolling over but then getting "stuck" on his belly and crying. With the help of a few towels in the crib, he's back to sleeping mostly through the night. And so are we! He's also getting better at moving toys around in his hands (and mouth!) and likes to grab his knees. He's much more comfortable sitting up now (not on his own yet) and loves when daddy tickles him :)

4.5 months old

Wow, this has been a very long week for us. Bradley's stomach virus ended up lasting about a week and included 3 trips to the pediatrician, 1 trip to the ER, many loads of laundry, 5 missed days of daycare and a very exhausted mom and dad. Thankfully, our little trooper is feeling much better. Of course, the day he returned to daycare we found out there were several kids there with hand foot and mouth disease. Crossing our fingers that he doesn't get hit with something else right now!

Bradley's First Haircut

The time had finally come...we needed to do something about his crazy hair. We didn't want to shave it all off or anything, just shape it up a little. The girl that does my hair was more than happy to help, she didn't even charge us for it! And she said he was more well-behaved than 95% of the kids she sees.

The final product! He's lost some of the hair on the sides so this isn't from the hair stylist shaving it. A much more manageable style...stay tuned for the return of the mohawk!

Sick again

Poor Bradley picked up a stomach virus this week AND got his 4 month shots...not a great week for the little man. After missing 2 days of day care, he's finally feeling a bit better. Let's just say we've done a lot of laundry this week.

We do have some good news though--our Florida house has finally sold! We will definitely enjoy just renting for awhile.
