Almost 7 Months Old

Total failure on taking pictures this past week. Work is pretty busy for me right now plus I've decided to put a little more effort into getting back in shape. I registered to run the San Diego Half Marathon in March so I'll be putting time into training for that. Adam had a minor medical issue this week and fractured one of his big toes so he's hobbling around but will not need surgery. Life is always interesting at the Hall house! My brother Tim arrives tonight and will be visiting for the next 10 days...stay tuned for pictures from more fun things around San Diego.

Yay Bradley! Although, don't get too excited. We can hold him standing up for a little while but his legs buckle pretty quickly. Adam let go of him just long enough for the photo. We're still a ways away from standing up!

 

Visit from the Maine-iacs

We had a great week with our visitors from Maine: Grammy and Uncle Shawn. Bradley had many smiles and conversations for both of them and we all enjoyed their visit! We did a bunch of fun things that included sightseeing around San Diego, visiting a winery, Monday Night Football at the Chargers stadium, a trip to the zoo, and a walk by the beach. I didn't take too many pictures but here are a few (plus several from before they arrived).

Beast Mode

The doctor confirmed our suspicions today...Bradley is a giant! At 6 months old (and 1 week), he weighs in at 21 lbs 3 oz (95th percentile) and is 27.5 inches long. No need to worry about his super size until he is a bit older. At this point, his pediatrician says higher weight is thought to help them to better fight off disease. He hasn't been sick (other than a little stuffy nose here or there) in over 6 weeks so we'll take it :)

6 Months Old

Adam and I celebrated Bradley's half birthday by working some very long days, boo. I guess we are just thrilled to have made it this far with our little buddy intact and healthy :) His 6 month doctor's appointment is in a few days so I'll post his height/weight after that. We're also SUPER excited that Grammy and Uncle Shawn are coming to visit on Friday! We wish all the Maine relatives could come out but we'll just have to wait until Christmas to introduce Bradley to everyone.

Bradley is still doing great with eating real foods. He gobbles up everything we give him but by far his favorite are things we put in the little self feeder, shown in the next few pictures. We've put pieces of bananas and also cantalope and he goes crazy! (like a kitty with catnip)
