We've had some beautiful weather and so have done several fun things outside recently (sorry to our friends and family in the Northeast!) First up, a trip to the playground by our new place. Bradley loves crawling through tunnels...almost as much as he loves climbing up steps!
Not quite walking on the balance beam, but walking along it.
Somehow, he was fine sitting in this grass...yet all other grass is scary. Especially the grass at our house.
And people say he doesn't look like Adam...
Another trip to the beach! This time, we met up with some friends at the beach in Coronado, which is about 20 min from our house. Very beautiful. It reminded us of Florida beaches: soft white sand, flat and blue water.
Playing with his friend Anthony who just turned 1
Back at our house, playing in his new swimming pool. Too bad he was terrified of it and wouldn't get near it unless he could sit on daddy's lap. Maybe I should have bought a bigger pool?
Happy St Patrick's Day!
Monday was Bradley's first day at his new daycare. He was a little sad to see us go in the morning but perked right up and enjoyed exploring the new place. These are pictures his teachers sent home of his first day:
Some random pictures:
Attending Anthony's first birthday party. Bradley is next!
Who did that?
Weekend naps...whatever works!
no toys in daddy's car? no problem! falling asleep with a hanger in his hand
Now that Bradley is in his third bedroom before his first birthday, we finally decided to add a few more decorations. I know some fellow moms that put a lot of time and effort into the nursery and we just aren't those people. However, I did want to make it a little more fun so we've added a few monkeys to join our monkey :) We also have some items given to us by friends and family that make the room a little more special without having to buy a bunch of stuff. Our crib and changing table were given to us by Envoy coworkers/friends. We have several lovely knitted blankets from Aunt Kathy and FL nursing coworkers.
Yes, we ended up buying one of those ridiculously priced photos that a photographer takes at the hospital. I was very much out of it so at least someone took some nice photos!
Dashing clothes, many sent from Maine with love
And of course the turtle that lights up the ceiling. Bradley can't go to sleep until he has picked its color for the night.
His toy room...although, there are toys everywhere!
A giant birthday card sent from his previous daycare, signed by all the teachers who were very sad to see him leave and his friends in the Infant and Toddler Rooms. He'll be 1 in two weeks!
