Easter Weekend

No bunnies, eggs or easter baskets for us this year. We'll wait until Bradley is a little older before getting into any of that. Instead, we enjoyed a fun family weekend outside. We started off with a hike to a waterfall in the canyon by our house.

On Easter Sunday, we enjoyed a morning at the San Diego Zoo safari park. We go often enough that Bradley seems to remember some of the animals. I didn't take pictures of the ducks this time but we definitely say "quack quack" everytime we go!

Can't leave without petting the goats!

Quite the adventurous little climber

Enjoys pushing his stroller...he actually pushes it all over the house, doing many laps through the kitchen, living room and playroom.

Unfortunately, Bradley was home sick from daycare for 3 days this week. He had a fever that just wouldn't go away. Here he is playing with daddy...monkey see, monkey do?

Helping me do my work while I was home with him one day. He's actually chewing on the mouse, silly boy.

 Finally feeling better!

Trip to a lake to feed some ducks

We love eating food from Chipolte!

1 year stats

Bradley went to the doctor last week for his 1 year check-up. At 26+ lbs, he's in the 96th percentile for weight and is 30 inches long. His head circumference puts him in the 87th percentile. He's big but his pediatrician says all is good and he's growing fine. He was sick at the visit so they'll wait another month before doing the next round of shots (measles, chicken pox, and Hep A).

The past few weeks have been a lot of fun with Bradley! He now says things that sound like "what is that" and just learned how to blow kisses, so cute. You can ask him to "wash his hands" and he'll rub his hands together or "comb your hair" and he'll use whatever he's holding to try and comb his hair. He is walking all over the place, either with his walker or holding onto just one of our fingers. He's very close to walking on his own but hasn't gotten brave enough to let go for more than a few steps. He's still eating most things that we give him although he definitely prefers meat to everything else. And after a few attempts, he even enjoys broccoli.
