Well, another week...another trip to the doctor's office. Off and on over the past few months, Bradley has had some breathing difficulties. This week was no different. It starts as a cold and quickly progresses to wheezing and labored breathing with lots of coughing. His pediatrician is now treating it as asthma even though asthma isn't actually diagnosed until a child is a bit older. So for the next few months, we'll be doing breathing treatments every day, rather than just during the episodes, with the hope that he doesn't have any more issues. He also had a bit of pneumonia which required more antibiotics (but not amoxicillin since we found out he's allergic to it). So many problems for the little guy!
Here he is, patiently waiting to see the pediatrician. He also managed to get his hand stuck in the door of the exam room while I was talking with the doctor. She was horrified and said that hadn't ever happened before. Way to go buddy! (and he was fine, just screaming because his hand was stuck)
He's too little for effective inhaler use, so nebulizer it is. Too bad Bradley sees it as a medieval torture device and fights us to no end. Currently, the high chair gives us the best plan of attack
Wearing his stethoscope, just like daddy
Having a dance party during one of his sick days
Going crazy being stuck at home...
More days home from daycare...more craziness
Other random photos:
Loves Chipotle almost as much as we do
He's a pro at eating by himself now
One of his few days at school this week, he did an art project where they colored under a table. So all week, he crawled under every table!
Finally feeling better, we went to the beach on Saturday morning. And being southern California, there's a film crew there
Filming Kevin Hart's latest flick (he's on the left)
Listening to some tunes with breakfast
When Daddy goes golfing, Mommy and Bradley go to the Safari Park
First ride on the carousel. Very scary until it started moving and then we had a great time.
Really enjoys food!
