17.5 Months Old

Lots of pictures of our big boy!

Still loves playing with ziploc bags

Almost too big for his golf cart

Beautiful morning at the beach

Helping daddy with another brew

Daycare really tires him out!

staying occupied while I put together his new kitchen

Work picnic at the beach.

the box his kitchen came in is almost more fun than the kitchen itself!

Early morning at the local Heart Walk for the American Heart Association

Not all of us were walking...

Washing his hands

Calling Grammy while he prepares us dinner

Another morning at the beach

Our hummingbird feeder is quite the local attraction!

Balloon!

Starting his own steel drum band

Enjoying our friends' pool

A good week for Bradley...in addition to a new kitchen set, he also got a new slide. And he quickly figured out how to use it by himself

Early morning breakfast

He loves waffles

His first "fight" at daycare. He pushed a kid, who pushed him back and he hit his face on a railing. Hopefully the fat lip and cut on his gums will teach him not to push his friends. And by the next day, he was completely fine.

Another early morning, heading off to daycare. He's usually a bit happier than this.

Labor Day Weekend

Finally a long weekend! And finally a healthy Bradley. We enjoyed several outside activities, including 3 days at the Disneyland Hotel. We didn't go to the park though; we'll wait until Bradley is a little older before dropping the big bucks on an amusement park.

Bradley's vocabulary is increasing every day. He hasn't really strung phrases together except to add "mama" or "dada" onto something he wants. "Milk!" is a favorite lately. He's been learning his body parts and can successfully point out his toes, ears, nose, belly and fingers. He can also make the sound of several animals like cows, pigs, dogs, cats and ducks, as well as say their names. He loves saying words like blocks, balloons, bubbles, books, and car. And he understands so much more. He also sings along with songs which is ridiculously cute :) His mobility has also improved as he is definitely more sturdy now and he can run and climb better. He keeps trying to jump but hasn't figured that out yet. He loves to be chased throughout the house, causing him to giggle like crazy.

Now onto the pictures:

Leaving work on Thursday...excited for the weekend to start. Too bad this is just the normal drive home.

Can say (and eat) bananas

"Mama, I'm ready to go outside!"

playing with my flip flops

Another trip to the Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego

Visit to the local free "zoo" (aka Petco). Here, we're looking at the turtles

and of course, the kitties

Very good at going down the slide by himself now

snack time

Starting our trip to Disneyland! Without bad traffic, only took us about 90 min to get there.

We stayed at the Disneyland hotel and had a lot of fun exploring the pool area. This is just the area with the water slides. There were also 2 larger pools and 2 huge hot tubs. It was pretty crowded on Sunday but then pretty empty the next 2 days.

Trying out a life jacket

Hot tubbin

"this is the life!"

Watching our disney shows while at disney

Ready to dance in Downtown Disney

Lego store

overwhelmed by all his disney friends

Bradley loves fountains, especially when they light up!

His first churro

Another fun day at the pool! Here he's playing with some small fountains in the pool

He was a pro at going down one of the water slides

Dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. He really liked watching the elephants and gorillas "come to life".

A great way to end the evening!

Bradley loves dancing :) He doesn't need us to do anything except let him loose near some music

Spent after the long fun weekend
