This is our kitchen when we bought the house. Original to the house, many of the drawers didn't work properly, shelves were unstable and everything was generally sticky beyond repair. To keep costs down, we didn't change the layout but rather just replaced the cabinets, countertop, sink and fridge. The stove, dishwasher and microwave work fine so no need to replace them. It was pretty amazing to see all of this work completed in less than a week (not by us!)
goodbye sticky cabinets!
Interestingly, the granite is pretty similar to what we had installed in our Florida house kitchen.
I didn't take before pictures of the bathrooms except for this one to show the tile I picked out. You can see the old yellow linoleum on the floor.
New tile installation in progress!
We also replaced all of the carpet in the house with the carpet you can see at the bottom of the picture (it was in progress here).
These were the big changes. A lot of little things were also done: new ceilings fans, gross gold shower doors removed, etc. We'll take more pictures when we move in :)
