Thanksgiving Vacation

Bradley's first trip to the dentist-he's watching Mickey's Clubhouse on my lap. Not nearly as scary as when I was a kid...

Potty training has gone great! We're 100% out of diapers! Even underwear at night with no accidents. If he has to pee during nighttime, he yells for us that he has to go potty. I would much rather get up and help him go potty than clean up pee in his bed. Yay Bradley! Next step will be having him go by himself at night.

Feeling under the weather which means smoothies with daddy. He actually missed 4 days of school because of pink eye, fever and chest cold. Is cold and flu season over yet?

Bradley's first trip to Toys R Us. So fun! I put various toys in the cart while we were there and bought them for Bradley as christmas presents but he was so distracted with everything in the store that he had no idea! I'm sure this will be the easiest Christmas shopping we will ever do with him :)

Here he's knocking off bottles and cans with baseballs in the backyard. He has really good aim for a little guy.
Trying out his airplane carseat before our big trip
For the first half of Thanksgiving week, we flew from San Diego to Charlotte, NC to see Adam's college friends Cory and Cara. They moved there over a year ago from NY/CT so it was our first time visiting them in their new home. Bradley did great on the flights and had a lot of fun with his new friends, especially their dog Zeus.

Playing with Zeus who blends in with the shadows. Such a great dog!
After having a great couple of days in North Carolina, we headed back to the airport for a flight to West Palm Beach, FL to visit more friends. Here, we're eating a little lunch before our flight

Looking at the map while daddy gets our rental car in Florida

Feeding the ducks

A trip to see turtles at the Loggerhead Turtle Rehab Center in Juno Beach

 Visiting the Abacoa Town Center

Checking out the ocean
 And the Jupiter Inlet

Turkey time!! We stayed with friends Carla and Danny and they provided a very wonderful Thanksgiving day meal.

Bradley had so much fun playing with Carla and Danny's daughter Jadyn. She's almost 11 but had no problem hanging with Bradley for a few days. He had a great time!

His other new doggy friend Zoe

A perfect trip to Florida. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Riding the carousel with Daddy and Jadyn
Back at the airport, we flew from Florida to San Diego. We had a few hours to kill at our layover in Dallas so we rode the train around the airport. After riding in airplanes, trains, buses and a rental car during our vacation, Bradley asked me if we could also ride a boat. Haha, not this time!

Playing in the kid area at the Dallas airport.
Back in San Diego! We picked out our tree at the Orange Store (aka Home Depot) and brought it home. Bradley was very excited!
He helped daddy put up the lights, ornaments, and of course candy canes.

Decorating for Christmas is very exhausting

Once home from our trip, Daddy put together Bradley's big boy bed. The transition from the crib to bed has been amazing. He loves his new bed and sleeps great every night so far!

Halloween 2015

We celebrated our anniversary this year by going out to eat with our number one fan. A week into potty training and this was Bradley's first trip to a restaurant in underwear. He has done so much better than we ever expected! 2 weeks later and we are done with diapers completely. He's even wearing underwear at night now with no accidents (yet). Very proud of our little guy...I mean, our big kid!

 Curling up with his Dunkin
Halloween was a lot of fun with Bradley this year! The holiday weekend kicked off with a party at school. He was one of probably 6-8 firemen which he thought was pretty cool.
His buddy Arjun had "big muscles!"
 Mickey made a guest appearance

 Munching on some yummy treats

Just like his daddy: sitting on the potty with some reading material
Even his gymnastics coach joined in the Halloween fun. Spiderman is a fantastic gymnast
 Doing what he does best
 All ready to go trick-or-treating!

Bradley kept ringing the doorbell and saying "trick or treat" before the person even opened the door. Then he'd just stand there, haha  He definitely enjoyed getting lots of treats
One house in our neighborhood really goes out for Halloween. This year, they created an entire haunted carnival in their front yard/driveway.
 one of several carnival games
Bradley enjoyed the games and candy but decided the haunted house portion was "too scary" so maybe we'll check it out another year. Last thing we need is a toddler having nightmares
Enjoying a few treats back at our house. He also really enjoyed handing out candy to kids coming to our house.
Bright and early the next morning, we did our first family 5K. I was the lucky one pushing Bradley in the stroller. The course was definitely more hilly than I was prepared for but we still did ok. It was my worst 5K time ever but my first one with Bradley so I'm glad he enjoyed it. About 100 yards from the finish line, Bradley was yelling at me that he wanted to do it again.
After the race, they had a fall carnival set up including multiple bounce houses

And lots of games with candy given as prizes
A giant Plinko board using pumpkins as the ball
And of course a huge trebuchet (catapult) to sling pumpkins into a giant dumpster

Making pancakes with daddy. Bradley is getting pretty good at cracking open an egg
Was excited when he realized his new pants had pockets

A little under the weather the past few days with a yucky cough and a little fever. Luckily, we only use the nebulizer for bad coughs and not every day anymore.
