October 2015

Lots of fun activities over the past few weeks! We explored a pumpkin patch, had a great visit with Grammy and Bradley is successfully wearing underwear now (goodbye diapers!)

This picture was from the street fair on the previous blog post, just forgot to get it off of Adam's phone. It's a big digger!

Party at Bradley's school. Each kid brought in their favorite food to share--Bradley chose cantalope (or melon as he calls it). It was funny because then each kid only wanted to eat what they brought :)
I completed my first 5K road race since Bradley was born. He was cheering me on!
 Fun times in the backyard

 Cheese!

I put a treat in an empty tissue box--he definitely struggled to get it out
Very stylish. On our way to the pumpkin patch in Julien, CA with his friend Mason

 Picking out some pumpkins

Helping make apple cider by smashing apples in a cider press

 hayride!

Our first rainy day in over 2 months...
so we had to find some rainy-day activities! First up, a trip to the trampoline park

Next, making smoothies with daddy. Cheers!

Driving his train through the "tunnel"

 Thinks he's a monkey

Adam hung up lights on the patio and it's finally getting dark enough in the evening to use them

 Bradley's first sunburn, boo
Visiting the Children's Museum downtown with Grammy
Riding the carousel in the Seaport Village!
 Showing Grammy the local sights
Including a tour of our neighborhood
 Peddling all by himself now

Riding a big boat through the San Diego harbor

And we took Grammy to SeaWorld. Of course, she had to ride the Elmo ride with Bradley :)

Pumpkin carving! The finished jack-o-lanterns
Sadly, they only made it about 2 days before rotting
During a trip to the Safari Park, the lions tore apart the sprinkler system in their enclosure and were playing with it, haha

More carousel fun with Grammy. We were so happy to have her come and visit us!
 His new water table

 Fun with Playdoh

In an effort to meet some new people in our area, we attended a Yale Alumni event at a huge mansion in La Jolla. Beautiful views of the Pacific
This is what breakfast in our house looks like during weekday mornings: we all sit at the little table while Dunkin supervises (and hopes to get some of Bradley's milk)
At Bradley's school, they are learning about their homes and families. This is a picture of a picture of a house Bradley built.
Riding bikes with his best buddy Arjun

 After school snack
Gymnastics with Coach Sed. In just a few months, Bradley has improved so much on all the skills

Still working on his upper body strength
