Right after New Years, we did a 5k on Coronado. Adam and I have been focusing on being healthier, both in our eating and physical activity. Adam has lost around 15 lbs and almost 10 for me! Plus I've finally returned to my running. I've run several races in the past few months and have a few more 5k and 10k's, before a half marathon in June. I'm really enjoying making running a priority again.
Lazy Sunday
Fun at the trampoline park
Dunkin enjoying a quiet moment
Bradley has so much fun playing with his friends at school. Here they were pretending they were getting on a airplane to fly to San Diego
LOVES clementine season
Disney on Ice! Such a great event watching the Frozen performance. For the past few weeks, Bradley has been "skating" around the house, singing all the songs. I think we'll take him to a real ice rink soon
bird-watching
Making a delicious dinner and sharing with me. Riley taught him how to set the table while she was here
For the super bowl, we headed to a friends house. They had tons of kids there which was a bit overwhelming for Bradley at first (he's less crazy, more reserved) but he definitely enjoyed playing with some new toys and making some new friends.
Doing what cats do best
While home sick with a fever last week, I introduced him to old school Tom & Jerry cartoons. He loves it! He laughs and giggles through every episode. This definitely helped us get through the 4-day long fever. He's such a big boy now! On one hand, I can't believe he's almost 3 but at the same time, he seems like such a big kid. The potty training has gone great and for the most part, we're accident-free (even at night!) He had a few setbacks while his cousins were here but is back on track now. He sleeps great in the big boy bed and stopped using a booster seat months ago at the kitchen table. And I'm constantly amazed at the insightful things he says/does. The other day, he kept saying a word that I couldn't understand so I asked him to use it in a sentence and he did, correctly! Everyone thinks their kids are super-smart and we're no different, haha
Another road race today, this one with a Mardi Gras theme. A 5k for Adam pushing Bradley in the stroller and a 10k for me where I set my best time yet! Bradley is almost 3 and it has unfortunately taken me this long to get close to my pre-pregnancy fitness level. Looking forward to some more races in the future where Bradley can run too!
