Springtime fun

I always intend to blog more than once a month but then time just gets away from me. Fortunately, many of you see a few pictures on Facebook!

We are very happy to have been in our house well over a year now. We had moved 3 times in 3 years so it's very nice to relax here for awhile. The weather has been mostly beautiful the past few weeks, almost always sunny and in the 60's-70's. As Bradley approaches his 3rd birthday, he's preparing to move to the preschool class at daycare. He has one more week until he's officially a "big kid"!

A few of his favorite things right now:

Darth Vader (and anything Star Wars): he of course has not seen the movies but can sing several of the popular songs from the movies, as well as talks about how "Darth Vader isn't a very good listener. He hits peoples with his light saber. Watch out Luke Skywalker! Also, storm troopers aren't very good listeners"

All sports: a typical visit to our backyard includes time spent playing soccer ("look at me dribbling the soccer ball! Mommy, we need to buy some cones. Coach Jenny at school has cones. Maybe she will share them with you" ), football ("a football has 2 noses, mommy"), golf ("let's play mini golf and hit the ball in the hole. Where's the house to hit the ball into? Can we hit it into our house?"), basketball and baseball ("pitch it to me, daddy! Watch my practice swing").

His Little People zoo: he loves going to the San Diego Zoo and so really enjoys playing with his "pretend zoo". He especially likes feeding all the animals and bringing a bus-full of kids to see the animals. Once in a while, a real big kitty joins the fun...

Classical music: really enjoys watching Little Einsteins on Disney Jr channel. It's teaching him different musical instruments, composers and famous pieces. LOVES the Nutcracker March by Tchaikovsky (although we had to call Uncle Tim and sing it to him to get the composer right, haha). Bradley can be found singing it almost daily. Mickey and Thomas have taken a backseat to Little Einsteins!

We asked Bradley what he wants to do for his birthday since we won't do a party this year. He said he wants to go ice skating, eat cupcakes and have balloons. So that's our plan! He's been wanting to try ice skating since seeing Frozen on Ice last month. Hopefully it's as much fun as he's hoping :)

Now on to the pictures!

A master brewer! Stirring the grains for an IPA

School field trip to the Farmer's Market. The kids had soooo much fun
Beach ball fun in the backyard
 Melon snack break
Breakfast at the pancake store (aka IHOP)
Bought him his first baseball mitt

Not sure who loves the tunnel more, Bradley or Dunkin?

Stretching after a run with my little buddy
A trip to the driving range
 Decent form for a toddler
 And some mini-golf

Afternoon at the playground on Daddy's birthday

Still funny to wear mommy's shoes
Bradley has moved up to the 3-year old class at gymnastics which looks way more fun than the little kid class.

School picture time...again. Seems like they do these every 3-4 months. Also, not one of his best haircuts--daddy needs more practice with the clippers!
Showing off his dance moves, haha

Nothing says summertime like corn on the cob and lemonade!

Another 5K! This one was with his school at the Autism Race. Adam and I ran together, pushing Bradley in his stroller and got our best stroller time yet. Instead of tshirts, the kids got capes
Finishing strong on daddy's shoulders (just for like the last 0.05 miles)
Hilarious. Squirting Dunkin with the spray bottle...through the window
Haven't been to SeaWorld in awhile. Always a lot of fun, but it was SUPER crowded today. Maybe from spring break?
Staying cool at the polar bear exhibit
Running over to tell me he just touched a shark!!
