August 2016

Another month of fun summer activities!

Random beach day
 some fun new bath toys
He decided we should buy this R2D2 suitcase for him. We didn't.
An early morning in Solana Beach for Adam's first duathlon (run-bike-run)

Looking for daddy so we could cheer him on
 There's daddy!

 Good Job!!
Trying to fix something in his play room
Every post needs a few kitty pictures

We bought a museum pass so we can have unlimited visits to the museums in our area (17 in total!) Naturally, we started with the Science Museum

 Chasing the birds
Next up, we visited the San Diego Railroad Museum. This was pretty cool to see all the model trains/towns built but less fun for Bradley since he couldn't touch anything
 Except the sign

 Museums make him tired
 He doesn't have enough toys
 After bath crazy hair
2 weeks ago, we went camping with friends from LA. Bradley was soooo excited

Our friends have 4 girls and Bradley loves hanging out with them
During the camping trip, Adam and I did an obstacle race about an hour away. I've always wanted to do one so we booked this before realizing it was the same weekend as camping. So glad we were able to make both things work. The race was 5 miles with 25 obstacles plus it was over 90 degrees!
 Before the start
 Almost at the Finish Line
 So much fun!

Mr grumpy pants because he missed his nap
Talking to the newest addition, Quinn
 Enjoying some yummy s'mores
mid-day hike
He slept so good in the tent...wish I could say the same for us

 Silly bunch
The following weekend, we visited the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Bradley loved seeing space ships and even a moon rock! At school, his favorite game is now pretending that he's an astronaut
 Flying with daddy

 Flying with Mommy
 Flying solo

 Swimming with his friend Mason
 Talking to Grammy over breakfast

Ice cream at the end-of-summer party at his school, even though we'll have summer until mid-October

We leave for our Hawaiian vacation in one more week. Bradley has been talking about it for weeks and tells everyone he sees that we're going. I hope it lives up to his expectations!
