30 weeks

Wow! I have gotten much larger over the past 2 weeks!

We ended up getting a crib over the weekend from a generous coworker so now our nursery looks a little more like a nursery! Some people have been asking us about what we still need...we're registered at Babies R Us and Amazon if you're interested. We're having a baby shower here in Florida on Feb 9 with friends and coworkers but unfortunately won't be able to have one either in Pennsylvania or Maine with family. Just one of the downsides of living so far away.

I can't believe we're at 30 weeks already! It seems like just yesterday it was 10 weeks...nope just kidding, I feel like I've been pregnant FOREVER :) adam and I are very excited to meet the little guy soon!

Our First Sale

After selling multiple items on Craigslist and several days of cleaning/reorganizing, our house is finally ready to go on the market. We had hoped to stay in this home for a few years and so are a little sad to leave after only 2 years. We'll be looking for a rental in San Diego and will definitely be paying more for a lot less. Wait, why do people like southern CA so much?

Starting Monday, we get to look forward to strangers schlepping through our house, deciding that our closets are too small or that "ehhh, where's the stainless steel dishwasher?" Gimzo has been put in charge of making sure potential buyers at least wipe their feet before entering. Thankfully, the market in our area looks good for us so this whole process should be relatively painless, at least financially speaking. Anyone else think we'll end up trying to close the sale on the same day I go into labor?

Anyways, here are a few shots of our sad little nursery:

No point in decorating since we'll be leaving a few weeks after baby Hall is born and we'll probably wait to get a real crib until we reach the west coast.

Also, we are VERY happy that my sciatica has almost gone away. I'm not back to running, but I am able to walk without excruciating pain. Yay! Two weeks of that was pretty awful...especially when the strongest pain reliever acceptable while pregnant is tylenol.

Happy almost 30 weeks to my future Penn Stater!

28 Weeks

The start of the third trimester!

Or rather, attack of Sciatica. Baby Hall is so excited to reach this landmark that he's pinching my sciatic nerve, severely hindering my ability to walk or basically move, pain-free. Hopefully this pain ends soon as I can't imagine labor and delivery being much worse. On a happy note, the doctor says baby looks great! I'm sure his health has been improved by the pile of christmas cookies he's been consuming over the past few weeks...

27 Weeks

Happy New Years!

No bubbly for me this year...but no worries, adam's definitely drinking for two!

Our third trimester is right around the corner, very exciting! I've put off wearing maternity clothes until now but finally broke down and bought a few items. Baby Hall has been super-excited that my parents are visiting us right now...he's been celebrating by doing guiness world record number of backflips, both day and night.

24 Weeks

Welcome to our Blog! We had been posting some pictures on facebook and emailing others...this just seemed like the easiest way to keep everyone updated on our upcoming adventures. I'll try to post a picture of our growing bundle of joy every 2-3 weeks.

We're well on our way to baby Hall at this point! Definitely starting to look pregnant and not just eating for the holiday season.
