Hiking and our new house

Busy past few weeks so I didn't get to post last weekend. Adam, Bradley and I all had the long Presidents Day weekend together so we planned a bunch of fun stuff. We started off by trying out our new hiking backpack on a mild hike through Torrey Pines. Bradley seemed to really enjoy his vantage point and especially liked having such close contact to daddy's sunglasses.

On Monday, we enjoyed a beach playdate with a coworker, her husband and her little guy Mason. He and Bradley are only a few weeks apart in age so it makes it fun for them both to be more or less at the same stages.

double trouble :)

This past week was a bit crazy because I had jury duty and ended up getting selected to serve on a trial. Luckily, it only lasted 3 days...overall, it was a pretty interesting experience. The worst part was having to drive into downtown San Diego every day and of course, parking wasn't validated.

Some random Bradley pictures:

Still not enjoying being blocked from his favorite toys: the stairs

thanks amazon for this cheap tunnel!

We got the keys to our new place today. The movers aren't coming for another 2 weeks so in the meantime, we'll just move a few small things. We're very excited to have such big open areas for Bradley to play and no steps to contend with. Here he is exhausted from crawling all over the house (and we love the brand new carpet!)

this is one of essentially 3 living room areas. plenty of room for toys, both for Bradley and daddy!

master bedroom and bath. not sure why, but it seems like every house in Cali is missing a door on the master bathroom (thankfully, there is one separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom)

huge patio outside

good size yard (at least in San Diego it is)

Baseball fun

On Saturday, we stopped by Petco Park for the Padres Fan Fest which is a chance for fans to visit the stadium, meet some players and of course run the bases. Bradley enjoyed playing on the outfield grass.

I've recently reconnected with fellow PSU-er Janine and her family. Here we are with our boys...her Anthony is just 2 weeks older than Bradley but about 7 lbs smaller!

In preparation for our new house with a big yard, we bought Bradley some patio furniture. Here he is checking out one of the Adirondack chairs

Lots of Laughs

10 Months Old

Last weekend, Bradley enjoyed a trip to the playground. As you can tell, he loves the swings.

looks like a little man now and not so much a baby

his awesome shark stroller

On Sunday, Adam went golfing with some friends so I took Bradley to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. I was a little nervous since it was my most adventurous outing with him by myself but everything went well. We had a fun morning of looking at some animals, especially the ducks! Bradley enjoyed "quacking" at them and hearing them quack back

this little guy got a little too close!

Almost every evening when the weather is clear, we see a bunch of hot air balloons from our house. I finally took a picture of some of them.

Bradley's new ride...bring on the trails!

He's a super star at climbing the steps. Not good.

He can go up all of these in less than 5 minutes

admiring his work

Hard to keep him contained anymore

Happy 10 months little man! We'll be celebrating by installing a few more baby gates :)
