Hiking and our new house

Busy past few weeks so I didn't get to post last weekend. Adam, Bradley and I all had the long Presidents Day weekend together so we planned a bunch of fun stuff. We started off by trying out our new hiking backpack on a mild hike through Torrey Pines. Bradley seemed to really enjoy his vantage point and especially liked having such close contact to daddy's sunglasses.

On Monday, we enjoyed a beach playdate with a coworker, her husband and her little guy Mason. He and Bradley are only a few weeks apart in age so it makes it fun for them both to be more or less at the same stages.

double trouble :)

This past week was a bit crazy because I had jury duty and ended up getting selected to serve on a trial. Luckily, it only lasted 3 days...overall, it was a pretty interesting experience. The worst part was having to drive into downtown San Diego every day and of course, parking wasn't validated.

Some random Bradley pictures:

Still not enjoying being blocked from his favorite toys: the stairs

nothing is safe

thanks amazon for this cheap tunnel!

reorganizing our kitchen

reading a book in his chair

way, way too big for the Bumbo seat

my favorite valentine's day card

"hmmm, what should I make for dinner?"

new shades with batman on the lenses

everything is a toy (that was a roll of paper towels)

playing peekaboo with daddy outside

We got the keys to our new place today. The movers aren't coming for another 2 weeks so in the meantime, we'll just move a few small things. We're very excited to have such big open areas for Bradley to play and no steps to contend with. Here he is exhausted from crawling all over the house (and we love the brand new carpet!)

picnic lunch in his new playroom

this is one of essentially 3 living room areas. plenty of room for toys, both for Bradley and daddy!

master bedroom and bath. not sure why, but it seems like every house in Cali is missing a door on the master bathroom (thankfully, there is one separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom)

huge patio outside

good size yard (at least in San Diego it is)
