San Diego is on Fire

What a crazy week! Adam returned from Maine last week just in time for wildfires to break out all over our area. The first big fire was very close to where many of my coworkers live. If we hadn't moved in March, we would have had to evacuate! Luckily, everyone was safe and no houses were destroyed in that one. Then the next day, 9 different fires appeared in various places around our county. You could see smoke in almost every direction from our house. We thought earthquake would be the scariest part of living here, but fires definitely win. And they say fire season is just beginning...

In addition to the fires, poor Bradley has been sick for what feels like forever. Last week, he missed 2 days of daycare due to hand-foot-mouth disease. Luckily, he didn't have it very bad and just had to stay home because he was contagious...he didn't feel too sick from it. Then a few days later, he manages to pick up pink eye, on top of an ear infection and sinus infection. Yikes! several doctor visits plus antibiotics and eye drops and our little man is finally feeling better. So far, Adam and I have both managed to avoid the illnesses...hopefully we are all healthy for the long weekend coming up.

Bradley continues to try to pick up and carry large objects around the house

Toy of the Week: cardboard box

Adam brought his buddy the singing dog back from Maine (check out my Christmas post to see a cute video of Bradley dancing with him)

Enjoys squatting, because he can
