18 months old

Time is flying. Our little boy is 18 months old now! In a few weeks, he's gone from saying a few words to seemingly 2-3 new words every day, including a few short phrases. He's pretty good at saying different animals, foods, kitchen items, clothes, body parts, things outside (like moon, flower, car, airplane) and his friends like Leah and Lilly and also Elmo and Scooby. He's says "open the door", "that's a light" and "I'm stuck". Such a little chatterbox!

We had his 18 month check up this week and he's still 97th percentile for weight at a hefty yet adorable 30 lbs. Poor little guy got another 4 shots but took them like a champ. He still can't quite jump but has gotten much better at running and going up/down stairs.

shockingly green grass for our never-ending drought conditions

Finally a cooler weekend so we visited the Safari Park. Bradley loves the waterfall

and the ducks, of course. This was his first time feeding the ducks himself. He giggled everytime he threw them some food.

Home from daycare for a few days this week with a GI virus. Now he can point at his diaper and say "poop!"

he always goes a little crazy when he's home for a few days

Tired after a long week

Miramar Air Show. The base is just a few miles south of where we live.

Our improvised water slide. Great fun for a 95 degree day
