It's Fall!

It's Fall in San Diego but feels oddly just like summer. Adam did his final triathlon of the season and we were there to cheer him on!

 Making mini pizzas
I ran another 5K, this time in Escondido. Adam was going to run with Bradley in the stroller but a flat tire quickly put an end to that.
 He still had fun
Plus he loves seeing people in costume! This was the grape day 5K, hence the grapes.
Oh, and it was 95 degrees. In October.
So we went to the beach!
Last week, I traveled to Tucson, Arizona for work. While I was gone, the boys spent a day at the zoo.
 Elephants!
 Lions!
Meanwhile, in Arizona...a beautiful view from my hotel
I was the invited speaker to the University of Arizona: College of Pharmacy seminar series
Last weekend, we spent the afternoon at the pumpkin patch with his friend Mason (who we go with every year). Fun to see these guys grow up a little more each year. They had a blast in the corn maze

It's almost Halloween!

September 2017

Almost half of this month was spent in Hawaii so this is a shorter post.

Baseball has started again! He's still playing t-ball for Mira Mesa Little League and his team is the Dragons. Last year, he was one of the youngest and smallest kids but now he's more in the middle. However, he is definitely one of the better players--his hitting is amazing! We still have a lot to work on with catching the ball but making huge improvements each week. The kids take turns playing catcher

Dunkin loves drinking water that isn't in his bowl, especially from Adam's water glass or from the shower. So I got him his own fountain or "waterfall" as Bradley calls it.

 Can't believe he's so tall!
 Another triathlon for Adam

 Crazy hair day at school
Back to the driving range. He hits in farther than I do!

The Miramar Air Show was a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun watching the Blue Angels fly over our house.

Hawaii - Kona

The second part of our trip had us staying in Kona on the west side of the Big Island.

View from the balcony at our condo

One of the most beautiful beaches that I've ever seen

Adam and I did a night time snorkeling excursion to see giant manta rays. This was amazing and I highly recommend! We also saw a monk seal.

The next day, we all went on a snorkeling excursion
 He was honorary first mate
A very beautiful coral reef. Bradley was able to snorkel a little bit but his biggest issue was that he couldn't stop talking and would choke on the water. We put him on a boogie board with a mask and it worked great! Even Grammy got in on the snorkeling action.

 Running on some lava trails
 Another day, another amazing beach

 Getting into the Hawaiian spirit

 A beach in downtown Kona
 Breakfast on our balcony
 Visiting another snorkeling hot spot

 More sea turtles!
View from our balcony. Watch out for the waves, Grammy!

Bradley's first time walking on the tarmac to get to our airplane. He kept saying "we're walking on the runway, momma!!!!"
Every trip to Hawaii is amazing. We had a great time and are so glad that Grammy joined us!
