Summer Adventures in San Diego

The day after we returned to San Diego, I had signed up for a Half Marathon that ended right next to our house. I would already be waking up early from the jet lag so it actually was good timing for a race.

 Hunting prey?
We spent a long weekend camping with friends in the San Bernadino Mountains
Bought a new tent which worked great (plus a lovely queen size air mattress)
 He's a dancer
Swimming in a nearby lake...which was super gross with slime and dirt. But beautiful scenery
 Hiking near the campgrounds

 The whole gang
Back home and tired after all that fun. Napping with Dunkin's blanket

We went to our local community pool for the first time. Very fun!
Adam did another triathlon, this time the swim was in the ocean. For his first time doing one like this, he did great!

Still eats his spaghetti o's without his shirt on
 First day of Pre-K!
Spending the day with me for my company's Take Your Child To Work Day
He had so much fun doing many science experiments

 Awesome chemistry demonstration
 Checking out the robot
Loved playing inside these big balls
Last weekend we met some of his school friends at the nearby water park: Aquatica. He's tall enough to ride all the slides now! This year was a huge improvement over last year--he showed no fear
 Snack break

 His school buddies
I was watching the Track and Field World Championships on TV and he kept imitating the different events. This is him pole vaulting.
