Northeast Vacation: Part 1

We had an amazing trip back East for 2 weeks! So great to see so many family and friends.

At the airport, waiting for our flight in his "airplane seat"

Bradley did great on the airplane! It probably helped a little that we flew through Houston (sort of halfway) so he just had 2 flights that were each 3 h or less.
We saw many friends during our trip. I realized we didn't take any pictures with Jenny and Justin in Pittsburgh but it was so great to see them. Here is Bradley's first night sleeping on his inflatable toddler bed. We were so relieved that it worked great every night!
After flying into Pittsburgh, we drove to State College for Missi and Earl's wedding (about 3 h away). Bradley's first time in a front-facing car seat and he loved every minute of it.
 Another night, another hotel room
Rehearsal dinner at the State College Spikes minor league baseball game. Great idea! And perfect for a toddler to run around. He even got a ball from the bullpen!

Hanging with the bride and of course Grandma and Grandpa
Also loved playing with his cousins
Perhaps a future Penn Stater? (standing in front of Beaver Stadium)
While I joined Missi for hair and makeup the next day, Bradley got to go swimming!

The lovely bride and groom. Congrats Missi and Earl!
 Dancing with Stephani

The lovely Amy, a week away from having baby Lydia

Before leaving State College, we met up with friends Lauren and Jason, and Bradley got to drop paratroopers from their balcony with their son Andrew. Very fun!
Then by sheer luck, my roommate Julie from college was visiting Penn State so we were able to see her for a few minutes at the Lion Shrine. And of course we stopped at the Creamery before leaving :)

Finally at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Here, Grandpa is showing Bradley the pool
 Looking at the cows

 "Playing with the balls"

We spent a day at Knoebels Amusement Park (in central PA) with Missi and Earl, Tim and the grandparents. I hadn't been there since high school so it was nice to have the family together as well as to share the park with Adam and Bradley. He of course, loved the train.

Bradley did great on all the rides! At first he would scream and cry when one ended until he realized that he could ride more.
 Driving the antique cars

 Big slide with Momma

Without a nap, he was getting pretty tired by the time we jumped on the carousel.

Grandpa showing him the ropes on the digger

 A pool with a view

Loved playing with Stephani and Beth
 Bubbles!

 Checking out the fish pond
Playing at a nearby playground with Grandma

SO much fun in Pennsylvania! From here, we took a road trip to Maine....
