New York is the 16th state that Bradley has visited. Not bad for a 2-year old!
His first happy meal. We stopped at McDonalds because we were hoping it would have a playground. After several hours in the car, he definitely need to run around. Unfortunately, no playground but lucky for us, there was a Home Depot next to it...
...so he ran all over the store! His favorite parts are the lights and fan aisle, model kitchens, the garden center and of course, the tractors.
After driving a few more hours, we made it to Sturbridge, MA where we stayed at a hotel overnight before continuing our journey. I gave him one bite of chocolate from the Cracker Barrel next to our hotel and he managed to coat himself in it. Nice.
The next day, we drove to Chelmsford, MA to see friends Jude and Rob and play with almost-2-year-old Cory. They had so much fun jumping around in a bounce house at an indoor playground. Bradley was a little confused about a playground inside--ha ha--because in San Diego that isn't ever necessary.
From there, we continued on to Nottingham, NH to see friends Brendan, Melissa and their two boys. Trampolines are so much fun!
Then it was on to Portland, Maine! Ice cream with Grammy was the perfect end to the day.
Loved riding in the car throughout the whole trip. Glad he's such an adaptable little traveler!
Stay tuned for our adventures in Maine...
