Disneyland 2015 - Part 1

We are very lucky to live so close to Disneyland (about 1.5-2 h). Last year, we also went for Labor Day weekend and stayed at the same Disney hotel but we didn't go to either of the amusement parks--Bradley was just too little to be fun.

Dunkin hanging around before we left for our mini-vacation

Impulse buy from Ikea: a castle tent

Our room at the Disneyland Hotel. Fun fireworks in the bed's headboard and Mickey shapes all over the room
The view of the pool area from our room
It was really hot while we were there so we definitely enjoyed the water slides

So many fun things in the gift shops

Enjoying the fantastic fountains in Downtown Disney
 Watching Mickey of course
 more fun fountains

 Loves his cantalope
Friends from LA joined us for some pool fun and then we had lunch together at Goofy's Kitchen. While somewhat pricey, this guaranteed us to have interactions with some of the characters. We ran into Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale. Food was just ok but it was definitely great to see Mickey's friends in the air conditioning (since it was over 100 degrees outside!). Plus Bradley loves seeing the 3 girls

Bradley wasn't scared of the characters, just a little hesitant at first. Not too surprisingly since these are a big deal to him!

Abby driving the kids around (haha not really)

A long day with no nap but still going strong for dinner at ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney
