Maui - Part 1

We've been home for 2 weeks and I'm just now getting around to posting about our trip. We had an amazing time! My brother Tim joined us for 10 days split between Maui and Kauai.

As usual, Bradley does great with traveling. Our flight was a bit more interesting this time because we sat on the plane for about 1.5 h before being sent back into the airport due to an issue with the aircraft. After another 2-3 hours, another plane arrived and we were finally on our way!

Running out of things to do while we waited...and waited...
Almost to Maui, we were flying close to Hurricane Lester. I don't know if we could see it but there were tons of clouds out there
 One quick catnap
We made it! This is the view from the balcony of our condo. Just amazing
Adam did a great job picking this resort!
 The beach at the resort

While the boys took pictures on the beach in the morning, I found a beautiful running spot
We had been worried about Hurricane Lester messing up our vacation but instead it was just a little windy with an amazing rainbow

Pool time with Uncle Tim
Love the shave ice! (not shaved ice)
 Shaka!
 Cheers!
On our second full day, we headed to West Maui to explore the Iao Valley

So many beautiful waterfalls on this trip
 Leaves bigger than your head

A trip to Dragon's Teeth near Kapalua

 And also Nakalele Blowhole

 Bradley says "Safety First"

 Thar she blows!

Driving around West Maui, part of it is lush green but the rest looks like this: barren and brown. As well as many windmills to harness power from the wind.
 More shave ice!
 Gorgeous sunset every day
